Registered Veterinary Technician with
Ohio License
Seeking a Full Time RVT for our high volume spay/neuter surgery department. All aspects of a technicians duties. Focus will be on assisting with surgeries, dentals, injections, and euthanasia. Candidates must be detailed oriented, able to take directions, and adaptable to a busy veterinary hospital.
General Practice & Spay & Neuter Veterinarians
Angels for Animals is seeking full or part-time surgeons. We are looking for skilled doctors that can perform
20 - 30 spays/neuters a day, who are comfortable with in heat and pregnant cat and dog spays, large dog spays, and cryptorchid surgeries. Full time surgeons can look forward to a Monday - Friday 40 hour week.
General Practice & Spay & Neuter Veterinarians
Seeking full time or part-time veterinarians for our veterinary clinic. Veterinarians can practice all aspects of veterinary medicine including dental and general surgeries. We have in house CBC, chemistry and uranalysis equipment, ultrasound, dental, and full body digital x-ray. We also offer cremation services in our on-site crematory.
Animal Intake/Surrender Technician
Duties will include taking in surrendered animals, filling out paperwork, and data entry into our online medical records, blood testing, vaccinating, and giving oral meds, providing food, water and litter, keeping the supplies and area clean, and coordinating with our medical kennel, the surgery department, and the adoption floor. Euthanasia certification required to euthanize sick and feral cats. Intake/ Surrender technician works side by side with the kennel assistants and veterinarians to provide quality care to the animals.
Kennel Assistant
Angels for Animals is looking for a full time kennel assistant for our medical kennel. This position includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Kennel assistant duties include cleaning cages and floors, providing food and water to animals, walking dogs, washing dishes and carriers, taking out trash, laundry and restocking. Applicants will be expected to be methodical in cleaning, on time and reliable with transportation, good temperament. Attention to detail is a must for cleaning. Kennel assistants work side by side with techs and vets to provide quality care to the animals.
Veterinary Surgical Assistant
Seeking individuals to work under the direct supervision of the doctors and RVTs. Duties are related to the health and well being of the shelter pets for adoption and public spay and neuter clients. Common responsibilities include preparing cats and dogs for surgery, taking vital signs, recovering animals, restraining pets for exams, cleaning cages, floors, and surgical instruments, administering medications, and injections and restocking supplies.
